The National Association of Realtors predicts that sales of existing homes, after falling 4.8 percent in 2010, will rise 7.9 percent this year and another 4.5 percent in 2012. Housing prices are predicted to rise by a slight .05 percent in 2011 but rise 2.4 percent in 2012. This is the perfect time to buy, if hoping to take advantage of the lowest housing prices. As the market stabilizes, prices will not continue to drop as they did in previous years.
