Broward homes sales and home prices rise

It is no surprise that Broward County was one of the hottest markets in South Florida this past month. With cities such as Weston, Davie, Southwest Ranches and Parkland it isn't alarming that home sales and home prices rose in Broward County.

Homes in March were up a whopping 8% from last March according to Florida Realtors. In fact, March was the busiest month in Broward since June of 2005!

Not only did sales increase by 8% but so did median home prices as compared to a year before.

Activity is definitely picking up and the unemployment is improving. As a local custom builder my belief is that the market in both Broward and Palm Beach is starting to experience a recovery.

So far this year, Broward County has seen a large decline in homes available for sale a trend that will continue; particularly in communities in which there has been no construction for five years.

Take advantage now.
